As a native New Yorker, I have always been surrounded by the linear nature of the skyscrapers that form this city. An alumni of the Fashion industry, I refocused my creative energy from apparel to the designing of jewelry. My inspiration, drawn from the Modernist movement in architecture, and my minimalist sensibility lead to the sculptural forms that become my jewelry. Angles and curves are incorporated into my designs and there is a solidity to my pieces. Most of my designs are hand carved in wax, as if they are sculpture, and then cast into metal here in NYC. Precise hand finishing makes each piece a work of wearable art.
